About Me
I am Sandip Bhattacharjee.
Founder of Psychology Couple & Family Therapy Australia.
As a Registered Psychologist, Couple and Family Therapist I can assist people to manage anxiety, depression , PTSD symptoms, couple and family relationship difficulties. I work with children, adolescence, adults and provide individual, couple and family therapy sessions to people experiencing a wide range of mental health issues. I have Post Graduate Diploma of Psychology, Graduate Diploma of Family Therapy and Master of Arts (Couple
& Family Therapy). I have specific interest in treating Anxiety, Depression, PTSD, Complex PTSD, Couple and Family
Relationship problems.
I have been trained in a range of therapeutic modalities
including CBT, EMDR, Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Schema Therapy Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), Gottman Method, Emotion Focused Couple Therapy, Systemic Couple
and Family Therapy I am interested in emerging research, and
I am committed to the provision of evidence-based psychological treatments to clients from diverse backgrounds.
Specialising in providing treatments to people experiencing Traumas, Complex PTSD, Relationship Difficulties, Depression and Anxiety. I am passionate about supporting you to alleviate distress, enhance relationship and enrich life. I am a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS)
and of the EMDR Association of Australia (EMDRAA)

I am available for Face to Face and Telehealth appointments at my Surry Hills practice every Monday.
I am also available from 9:00am-6:00pm at Parramatta Square Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays

Couples and Family Therapy Sydney NSW

Individual Counselling
I provide individual therapy for a range of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, adjustment disorders, PTSD, and more. Sessions are tailored to each individual to help them understand their feelings and develop strategies to cope
with their emotions. My goal is to support you in managing your mental health so that you can live a healthier and happier life.
1 hour ~ $180

Couples Counselling
At Psychology Couple & Family Therapy Australia, I offer couples counselling and psychology services to help strengthen relationships and encourage healthier communication. Our team of experienced professionals are dedicated to helping couples work through the challenges they face, providing guidance and support as needed. We strive to help couples build stronger and more meaningful relationships.

Family Counselling
Family counselling and therapy can help strengthen relationships between family members by improving communication, understanding, and support. Through counselling, family members can learn to work together to resolve conflicts and develop healthy, supportive relationships. I can help your family work through difficult issues and build a strong, positive family dynamic.
1 hour ~ $180

Medicare Rebates
With a valid GP referral and Mental Health Care Plan you can receive a rebate of $93.35 per session for up to 10 sessions per calendar year.
If you think you may be eligible for Medicare rebates, you need to see your GP to confirm your eligibility. If you are not eligible for rebates from Medicare, then you can still claim rebates from your private health fund, if you are covered.
If you would like to attend sessions privately, you do not need a GP referral however will not receive a medicare rebate back.
Please note for couples therapy and family therapy, a medicare rebate does not apply.
